The Original Ryder Clips were designed after many un-cool failed attempts at keeping my pant legs down when I was riding my new Harley Davidson. The wind would just keep blowing my pant legs up. So I used some mitten clips “if you’re from anywhere up north you know what I used. This of course was not cool but it was functional.
I had finally had received about as much CRAP from my friends as I could possibly take, when it hit me like a ton of bricks!! If I cut the elastic bungee from the middle, put them back together with a zip tie or two, attach it to my lace and then to my pant cuff, I had it!!
I began making some clips by gluing different skulls and eagles, whatever I could find that looked good on the clips. They were so cool and it made my riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle experience so much better.
More and more, I began having people ask me where I got them. I knew I was on to something, I just didn’t know how I was going to get there?
“Destiny” just kept stepping in to help. All I did was keep the dream going day by day by doing whatever I could to keep it moving forward.
This is when destiny grabbed 2nd gear, throttled it and I began making some serious tracks… I was introduced to a man who had his own factory; he loved the concept so much he sat me down with his engineers.
Hence the Original Ryder Clips were born they are for laced and stirrup boots. They are awesome like shoe jewelry ! We now have 12 different designs. This brings us to our company slogan “Our Goal Is To Keep Your Pants Down”. This was our way of passing on the end result keep your pant legs down when riding your bike.
We are continually working on new products like the Original Shift Sock this product is to stop the left boot from being destroyed by the shift lever. This keeps the black marks off your motorcycle boots if you ride any kind of motorcycle or a.t.v it becomes like motorcycle parts to have the motorcycle accessories.
I continued on and designed a cover for the Harley Davidson motorcycles and their shifters we call it the V-Twin Skin.
Not letting grass grow under my feet I designed the Original Ryder Balls.
Yup Balls….
I kept losing my Guardian/motorcycle bells (Legend of Good Luck it offers to a motorcycle and its rider!) and decided to make our own version of the Guardian/motorcycle Bells. We have 13 different designs to date. Our slogan for this product is do you “Got Bells Or Balls”
We have been blessed by destiny over and over to have this happen. All I do is stay out of the way, keep coming up with new products, and let my partners Bobbie Chahoc and Thomas Arniotis plus a few others do what they do best to keep this whole thing running smoothly without me screwing it up!!
My vision of Ryder Clips for motorcycle accessories has been a journey of five years and I believe that anyone can have a vision like I have. The best advice I can give to anyone is never give up on your dreams and visions.
That’s my story to the best on my knowledge and I’m sticking to it …
